The Udai Pratap College is situated in the northeast part of the holy city, Varanasi. The U P College spans across 100 acres. Late Rajarshi Udai Pratap Singh Ju Deo, the Raja of Bhinga estate established this college in the year 1909.The U P College, Varanasi started functioning as a degree college in the year 1949 with only a few graduation level courses in Arts and Commerce. In the College campus, IGNOU has opened a study center through which thousands of students get distance education in numerous disciplines.
